New Beginnings

I recently relocated to Gloucestershire from southeast London in a hurry. During my first summer in this rural location, I began to explore the country lanes with my camera.  Trying to make sense of the sudden move I took a daily walk where I reflected on all that had happened and tried to immerse myself in my new environment, hoping that the beauty and tranquillity of the surroundings would soothe my fragile family. I think these images reflect my sense of disquiet and dislocation. I was delighted I could end the year on a positive and this work was selected for the Three Storey’s Winter Exhibiton in Nailsworth. It is currently on show from 3rd December to the 5th January.
