Earth Photo 2026 – The Cabbage

Well, some exciting news from me!!

Four of my images from the Men’s Shed allotment project which I have been documenting over the past year have been selected for Earth Photo 2026!!

This project has been a lifeline for me following my unexpected move to the countryside and I’m delighted that the hard work and commitment of this small group of volunteers who tend this plot of land week in, week out has been recognised. In its small, quiet and unsung way, this project brings untold benefits to the community, the land and the individuals themselves.

Earth Photo is an international photography and film exhibition organised by the Royal Geographical Society, Parker Harris and Photoworks. It encourages conversations about our world and the challenges it faces – from the effects of climate change to biodiversity loss to powerful acts of restoration, resilience and hope.

I’m so proud to be part of what will be an amazing exhibition with work from 33 artists from 18 countries. The exhibition opens at the Royal Geographical Society, London next week and  tours the UK, as well as being available to view online. Looking forward to attending the opening this evening officiated by none other than Chris Packham.
